Even though they are set to retrieve the services of Egypt striker Emad Meteb in January, Ahli are willing to make another addition to their attacking department.
"There are three possible targets for January; Sierra Leone forward Mohamed Bangoura, Mostafa Karim (Iraq striker) and Given Singuluma of Zambia," Al-Qaeyi told FilGoal.com.
"It is not true we have reached an agreement with Karim. He is just one of our targets."
Back in July, Karim's agent claimed that the Sharjah striker is almost certain to join Ahli in the winter break.
Sierra Leone striker Bangoura impressed against Egypt last week, scoring the only goal for his nation in the 1-1 CAN 2012 qualifying draw.
Meanwhile, Ahli will likely offload one of their foreign players in the winter break should they bring in one of the three candidates.
Ahli currently have Algerian playmaker Amir Sayoud, Lebanese striker Mohamed Ghaddar and Francis Doe of Liberia among their ranks.
