Ismaili boss Mark Wotte will play a full-strength side in Sunday's meaningless CAF Champions League game at home to bitter rivals Ahli, the team's assistant coach said on Saturday.

Six-time African champions Ahli have already qualified for the semi finals of the continent's premier club competition with one game to spare in Group B.

JS Kabylie of Algeria also went through as the group winners while Ismaili, who last made the last four in 2003, could not go beyond the group stage.

Ahli have decided to rest some key players when they face Ismaili away from home but their opponents intend to stick with their stars.

"Our targets are different to those of Ahli," Ismaili assistant coach Ashraf Khedr told FilGoal.com.

"We want to prepare our regular players for the upcoming league game against Arab Contractors, so they will play against Ahli.

"Our last competitive game was against Kabylie on September 10 while the next competitive one will be against Contractors on September 23. We can't leave our key players without action during that period."

Ismaili could just miss Egyptian international midfielder Amr Al-Sulaya, who is nursing a knee injury.

Ahli have left influential trio Wael Gomaa, Mohamed Abou-Treika and Sayed Moawad out of their squad for the Ismaili game.
