The former Egypt defender was temporarily suspended after appearing on a TV show despite a decision prohibiting national team managers from working as football pundits.
He was summoned by the Egyptian FA for a hearing on Wednesday morning.
"I clarified everything to the FA, there was a misunderstanding," Ramzy told Dream TV.
"The matter has been settled after they accepted my excuses. I will continue to work as the Olympic team's coach."
Ramzy landed himself in hot water after he was hosted by Nile Sport to give his thoughts on last weekend's English Premier League game between Manchester United and Liverpool.
"The channel called me because Liverpool manager Roy Hodgson worked with me for two years when I was at Neuchatel during my playing days," the former Werder Bremen man said on Monday.
"I am not under any contract as a TV analyst because I respect the FA's decision regarding this specific job."
The Egyptian FA said recently it would not allow the coaches of Egypt's national teams to work as TV analysts or hosts of football shows after several of them were approached by local satellite channels.
Egypt's U-17 coach Mostafa Younes resigned from his post to honor a deal he signed with Modern Sport channel.
Ramzy, who had a brief spell in charge of Egyptian Premier League side ENPPI, has been appointed as the Olympic team's coach in December 2009.
He is burdened with the task of leading them to a place in the 2012 London Games after a 20-year absence.
