An emphatic 5-0 win on Wednesday sent Dortmund second of the Bundesliga table, having amassed 12 points from five games.
"We have 12 points, and that's a dream. If someone had told us that before the season we would have laughed and said that's not possible," said Dortmund coach Jurgen Klopp.
"But this team is working brutally hard. And it deserves all this."
Dortmund, who miss Egypt striker Mohamed Zidan due to injury, were inspired by goals from Lucas Barrios (twice), Kevin Grosskreuz, Matts Hummels and Robert Lewandowski.
