Coach Hossam Hassan included Essam Al-Hadari in Zamalek's squad for their league match with Arab Contractors despite the tension that the Egypt goalie had sparked of late by revealing his intention of leaving the Whites.

A number of reports said the 37-year-old keeper is seeking to part ways with Zamalek because he was benched in recent friendly matches.

The reports were later confirmed by Hassan, who voiced his disgruntlement with the way Al-Hadari had announced his plans to carry on his career away from the Cairo side.

Zamalek, who lie seventh in the Egyptian Premier League table, take on the Mountain Wolves on Monday.

Under-fire winger Ahmed Ghanem was once again named in the 21-man list.

Zamalek's squad:

Goalkeepers: Abdul-Wahed Al-Sayed – Essam Al-Hadari – Mostafa Abdul-Satar.

Defenders: Mahmoud Fathallah – Ahmed Ghanem – Mohamed Youness – Amr Al-Safti – Hani Saied – Mohamed Abdul-Shafi.

Midfielders: Hassan Mostafa – Ashouf Al-Adham – Ibrahim Salah – Hossam Arafat – Alaa Ali – Hussein Yasser – Wagih Abdul-Azim – Shikabala.

Strikers: Amr Zaki – Ahmed Gaafar – Abou Kone – Emad Mohamed.
