The Egyptian FA's disciplinary committee handed Zamalek forward Shikabala an EGP 10,000 fine for misconduct.

In the Whites' 1-0 win over Smouha on September 17th, the former PAOK Saloniki man made a shushing gesture to Modtada Mansour, who was watching the game from the stands.

Shikabala was angry at the ex-Zamalek president because he had criticized him earlier during a TV show, which prompted the Egypt intentional to react on the pitch.

Mansour, who has recently had an appeal against the legitimacy of Zamalek's last presidential elections upheld by the court of law, assailed Shikabala for his inappropriate act.

He first branded him as 'ignorant' and 'decadent' among other harsh words.

The controversial attorney also said not only did Shikabala insult him with gestures, but also threatened to kill him on his way to the dugout in the Egyptian Premier League match.

Mansour took legal actions against Shikabala and reported him to the Prosecutor General before both men were reconciled with each other.

It's understood that all the complaints against the 24-year-old were eventually withdrawn but the disciplinary committee punished him anyway.
