Zamalek manager Hossam Hassan has no concerns over his side's below-par performance in Monday's victory over Arab Contractors.

Mahmoud Fathallah's controversial penalty gave the Whites an unconvincing 1-0 win, but the narrow scoreline can hardly bother Hassan.

"I wish we could we win every game by the one-goal margin!" said Egypt's all-time leading goalscorer.

"The only important thing right now is to win, with disregard to the performance.

"Victory gives players confidence and thus the performance will be better. Goals will come with confidence."

Terrific Emad

Hassan tipped summer signing Emad Mohamed to shine in the near future, even though the Iraq striker has yet to make his mark after six league games.

"Emad will be one of our key players soon," added Hassan.

"He is a terrific player and his performance is increasingly in progress."

Emad came on as a second-half substitute against Contractors came close to scoring his maiden goal, only to be denied by the keeper.
