Egypt international striker Hamdi has only found the net once since the start of the league campaign, much to the dismay of his manager.
"A lot of question marks surrounds Hamdi's tendency to miss all those chances," Toulan told FilGoal.com.
"He can give us the three points of the game if he managed to score."
Petrojet, who lie sixth of the Egyptian Premier League table, are the lowest scoring team within the top six.
