Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger lamented the Gunners' wasted first-minute scoring chances in the 2-0 Premiership loss to Chelsea at Stamford Bridge.

Defender Laurent Koscielny squandered a clear-cut opportunity only seconds after the kickoff, when he headed a Samir Nasri corner kick over the crossbar.

Wenger believes the London derby could have ended differently had Arsenal found the net early in the match.

"The game should have been over before it started," he said. "We had two chances in the first minute, one very easy.

"We had chance after chance and never put the ball in the back of the net."
