Ismaili striker Mostafa Gaafar has been hit with an EGP 90,000 fine for missing training without permission.

The summer signing has hardly featured for Mark Wotte's side so far this season as he is deemed a fifth-choice striker for the Dutch manager.

Gaafar was told to take part in an Ismaili youth team match against Ittihad at the weekend, but failed to show up.

Wotte eventually decided to take action against the former Zamalek striker, whose future with the Dervishes is up in the air.

Ismaili rely on Ahmed Ali and Godwin Ndubuisi in attack, with Mohamed Abou-Greisha and Abdessalam Benjelloun backing up.
