ENPPI chairman Maged Nagati urged the petroleum-club players to ignore any possible refereeing mistakes in their next league game with Ahli.

The corresponding fixture last season, a 2-1 win for Ahli, witnessed some controversial decisions from referee Samir Osman, who dubiously disallowed two goals for ENPPI.

But this time Stoycho Mladenov's men were told to focus on the challenge of facing the league holders.

"I've spoken with the players to encourage them. I told them they were the better side in last season's match," Nagati told FilGoal.com.

"I urged them to keep their cool against any possible provocations from the opposition or any potential refereeing mistakes."

ENPPI are currently level on 14 points with Ahli, but the latter have three games in hand.
