Borussia Dortmund manager Jurgen Klopp indicated that Mohamed Zidan has recovered after injury, but has yet to regain full match fitness.

The Egypt forward has been ruled out since April after damaging knee ligaments as he was expected to return to action last month.

But Dortmund's busy fixture-list delayed the 28-year-old's comeback, explains his manager.

"Mo is already in a relatively good condition," said Klopp.

"The problem is that he cannot play with the amateurs, and we currently have no option to play friendly games, since we are constantly on the kick.

"But he is back and in great form, we will asses him on Monday."

Dortmund, who host Zidan's former club Hamburg on Friday, are surprisingly on top of the Bundesliga table after a superb start to the season.

Klopp's side are also competing in the UEFA Europa League, lying third in Group J.
