Zamalek striker Ahmed Gaafar is not worried much about his dubious goal against Ismaili despite admitting he was in an offside position.

Gaafar scored Zamalek's second in a thrilling 3-2 win on Tuesday as the linesman kept his flag down, prompting referee Fahim Omar to allow the goal.

"When I had the ball I didn’t know I was offside, I just focused on scoring the goal," the Whites' striker told FilGoal.com.

"But when I saw the replay on TV, I realized I was clearly offside.

"Refereeing mistakes happen. What about Geddo's goal against Masri? The referee was not Egyptian and he made a mistake but no one talked about it."

Geddo scored a dubious equalizer for Ahli against Masri in a 1-1 draw back in August, when world-class referee Franck De Bleeckere was in charge.
