AC Milan's Ronaldinho was criticized by his boss Massimiliano Allegri for lack of discipline after the playmaker left a pub at 2am, which raised questions over his status as a starter this season.

The talented Brazilian, once deemed one of the best footballers of all time, has suffered from chronic fitness and weight problems over the past few years.

His poor form cost him a place in Brazil's squad for the 2010 World Cup and now he could lose his regular spot at San Siro too.

Allegri left Ronaldinho out of last weekend's city derby against Inter Milan, although the former Barcelona wizard was fit to play.

After a video showed that the 30-year-old left a bar after midnight, Allegri hit out at him during a press conference.

"It's the not the hour for an athlete to still be awake," he said.

When asked whether Ronaldinho will be punished, Allegri replied: "Milan deal with issues within the club. It's none of your business."

The schemer took part in Brazil's loss to Argentina Wednesday in Qatar. It's believed that the controversial video was filmed right after his return to Milan.

Ronaldinho, however, could still feature in Saturday's Seria A clash with Fiorentina because his compatriot Andrea Pirlo is out of action with a slight thigh strain.

Throughout his career, the two-time world player of the year was repeatedly blamed for his off-field behavior.
