Ittihad have installed Mohamed Amer as new head coach on Monday, several hours after the departure of Brazilian tactician Carols Cabral.

The coastal club also reshuffled the technical staff, with Mohamed Nour reinstated as assistant coach and Magdi Bahloul appointed as goalkeeping coach.

Cabral handed in his resignation on Monday in the wake of Ittihad's defeat at ENPPI, their fifth in ten games.

Amer was in charge of Arab Contractors last season but was given the sack after the Mountain Wolves lost 4-0 to Wadi Degla in a league opener.

He remained unemployed till Ittihad hired him.
