Ismaili striker Abdessalam Benjelloun hopes that the Dervishes would not suffer the same dip in form they had after beating Ahli earlier this season.

Mark Wotte's team ended a six-match winless streak on Sunday, outclassing the league champions 3-1 in Ismailia.

The morale-boosting victory came two months after a soundly 4-2 Champions League victory over the Reds, which was followed by a series of poor results.

"I hope we won't suffer that decline we had after our earlier victory over Ahli," the Morocco international told FilGoal.com.

"We were clearly unstable after beating Ahli two months ago."

Benjelloun , who hardly plays for the Dervishes, played a cameo role in the most recent victory, but is looking forward to more regular football.

"I was very happy to be involved in the match against Ahli, but I need to get more playing time in order to return to the Morocco squad," he added.
