Zamalek defense star Mahmoud Fathallah revealed he has been approached by clubs in the Gulf, admitting that the offers are appealing for him.

“There have been some unofficial talks from the Gulf, but I am waiting for the negotiations to get formal so that I can talk to Zamalek,” the Egypt stopper told FilGoal.com.

“To be honest, the offers are tempting, but if it didn’t happen, I will not hesitate to extend my contract with Zamalek.”

Fathallah will be a free agent by the end of the season as Zamalek are struggling to offer him a new contract amid the club’s severe lack of funds.

The 28-year-old is a spinal figure in the Whites’ defense, while his goalscoring record has been anything but poor during the past two seasons.
