Zamalek have decided to pull out of their 'friendly' agreement with Qatar in the controversial case of Hussein Yasser, vowing to sustain their complaint against the forward.

Yasser joined the Qatar squad for this month's Gulf Cup of Nations in Yemen, much to the frustration of his club who didn’t approve his departure.

Zamalek took action against the 28-year-old before announcing they have reached an agreement with the Qatari FA to resolve the dispute.

However, the deal, reported to be a $100,000 compensation, fell through as the Qataris failed to follow up with the Cairo club, according to chairman Galal Ibrahim.

Ignoring

"They ignored us and we received nothing from what they had promised," interim chairman Ibrahim told FilGoal.com.

"There was no apology as well, so we decided to cut the talks and officially backtrack on the agreement.

"We informed the federation of our stance and we shall carry on our complaint."

Ibrahim also confirmed that the same goes for Iraq striker Emad Mohamed, who went AWOL before joining his national team for the regional tournament.

Emad was supposed to join Iranian side Shahin Bushehr on loan, but it seems that the latter have also failed to keep the negotiations alive.
