Essam Al-Hadari has joined Harras Hodoud’s training as a January move to the Alexandrian outfit looms.

The Egypt goalkeeper fell out with Zamalek manager Hossam Hassan and his exit from the Cairo club seems inevitable this winter.

While he is currently serving a four-month ban, Hodoud appeared as prominent suitors to sign the 37-year-old from the league leaders.

“Of course Al-Hadari is welcomed here. He wants to remain his shape by training with us,” Hodoud assistant coach Abou-Taleb Al-Essawi told FilGoal.com.

“We are happy to have him here and will be happier if he joined us.”

Al-Hadari is also joined by Egypt mate Hosni Abd-Rabou, who is recovering from a cruciate ligament injury under the supervision of the Hodoud medical staff.

Tarek Al-Ashri’s side have been encountering problems in goal since first-choice keeper Mathurin Kameni damaged knee ligaments last season.

Ali Farag is currently Hodoud’s number one.
