The Egypt midfielder, who will run out of contract in the summer, wants EGP 5million per year while Ismaili are facing severe financial problems.
Amid reports frequently linking him with Ahli, Abd-Rabou made a fresh warning to his club.
My right
“Many people criticize me and ask me to lower my demands because of Ismaili’s critical situation,” said the 26-year-old.
“This is my right, why would I give up on it?
“Why don’t they ask Shikabala to lower his demands? Look at Ahli players as well, why shouldn’t Hosni Abd-Rabou be treated like them?
“There is an agreement between me and the board. I only receive this number because I deserve it. I think the board is treating me unfairly here.
“I achieved a lot for Ismaili and because of me, millions have been pumped in.
“I will see out the remainder of my contract out of respect, but if the board failed to make an acceptable offer during that period, I will consider my options.
“I just want the fans to be aware of what’s happening. I only want to play for their sake.”
Abd-Rabou is close to making a return from a long-term injury which has kept him out of action since July.
