"I decided to take no part in the game against Egypt to save strength for Zamalek's league games with Wadi Degla and Ahli," Yasser told FilGoal.com.
"I also don't want to risk aggravating my injury. The game is not accredited by FIFA anyway.
"I have already informed the Qatar Football Association of my decision."
Yasser, who has dual Egyptian-Qatari nationality, had his shoulder dislocated while playing in the 20th Gulf Cup of Nations in Yemen.
He should undergo surgery next year.
Zamalek, the leaders of the Egyptian Premier League with 27 points, will take on Degla on December 24th before facing their arch-rivals and defending champions Ahli six days later.
