African champions TP Mazembe have become the first ever team from the Dark Continent to reach the Club World Cup final after stunning Brazilian giants Internacional on Tuesday.

A goal in each half gave the club from DR Congo a famous 2-0 victory over the 2006 world champions, with Mulota Kabangu and Dioko Kaluyituka on the scoresheet.

“This win means a lot of things. All of Africa should be proud of these players. They have an enormous heart,” Senegalese manager Lamine N’Diaye said.

Mazembe, who clinched back-to-back CAF Champions League titles, will now face the winner of the match between Inter Milan and Seongnam of Korea.

The mighty side from Englebert thrashed Tunisia's Esperance 6-1 on aggregate in this year's final.
