Arch rivals Ahli and Zamalek clash in an anticipated game on December 30, six days after the White Knights meet promoted Degla.
"We have to be solely concentrated on the Degla game," Qatari attacking midfielder Yasser told FilGoal.com.
"Ignoring that match will make our encounter against Ahli more difficult.
"We suffered a lot against smaller teams before because we did not take their matches seriously."
Yasser missed Qatar's 2-1 friendly win over Egypt on Thursday due to a shoulder complaint but he should be fit to play against Degla.
He also overcame a dispute with Zamalek that threatened to end his career with the club after he played at the Gulf Cup of Nations without their approval.
The 28-year-old scored twice against Ahli last season in the league and Egyptian Cup.
Zamalek are on top of the 16-team league table with 27 points as they seek to end a six-year wait for the prestigious title.
The inconsistent Ahli, who eye a seventh consecutive league triumph, have 20 points but they played a game less than Zamalek.
