Zamalek keeper Abdul-Wahed Al-Sayed believes that his side are capable of reaching the CAF Champions League group stage.

The Egyptian Premier League runners-up have been drawn with Ulinzi Stars in the continental competition's preliminary round on Monday.

Zamalek, who haven't taken part in the Champions League since 2008, may well take on Tunisia's Club Africain in the round of 32 should they sink the Kenyan outfit.

If the Cairo giants qualify for the round of 16, they will most probably face Sudan's Hilal, who are considered to be favorites to reach the group stage.

"Tunisian teams are always tough but I think a meeting with Hilal will even pose a sterner challenge," Al-Sayed told FilGoal.com.

"But I have faith in my teammates and I think we can overcome all difficulties to end our title drought."

Five-time African champions Zamalek have long suffered from title drought.

For over six years the White Knights have only won a single trophy in the Egyptian Cup in 2008.

Their last continental title is the 2003 African Super Cup.
