Ahli's injured pair Mohamed Fadl and Hossam Ashour were included in the Red Devils' initial squad for the Cairo derby against Zamalek on Thursday.

Striker Fadl suffered a hamstring strain, which forced him to make way for Mohamed Barakat early in the first half of the 1-1 draw with Arab Contractors.

On the other hand, holding midfielder Ashour saw his ankle injury relapse after making his return in Saturday's league game.

But despite their problems, Ahli's caretaker coach Abdul-Aziz Abdul-Shafi 'Zizo' named both players in the 26-man list.

Liberian hitman Francis Doe was also included in the squad, although he's yet to reach full recovery too.

Ahli lie fourth in the league table with 24 points, six behind leaders Zamalek.
