“Zamalek will not defend against us like other teams do and this could create some space within their backline,” Geddo told FilGoal.com.
“I hope to take advantage of that especially that I could play as a lone striker.”
Geddo, who usually plays as a deep-lying forward or a winger, has been Ahli’s primary target-man recently, given the number of injuries that hit the Red’s strikers.
The 2010 Africa Cup of Nations top-scorer is relishing the prospect of facing Egypt teammate Mahmoud Fathallah in the eagerly-anticipated match.
“Fathallah, along with Wael Gomaa, is undoubtedly one of the best defenders in Egypt and Africa in the meantime,” Geddo added.
“He is more experienced than me but I think I am faster. I hope to find the net against Zamalek.”
Geddo scored four goals for Ahli so far this season, all of which have been crucial in the champions’ fluctuating campaign.
