Egyptian Cup holders Harras Hodoud secured an easy berth to the competition’s round of 16 after beating second-division Hawamdia Sugar 2-0 on Wednesday.

In-form Senegalese Pape Latyr N’Diaye and his strike partner Ahmed Mekki scored one goal apiece to send the Alexandrians through.

Hodoud will face the winner of the match between Smouha and Sharqia which will take place later on Wednesday.

Other matches in the last 32 will see Police Union entertain Toukh and Ittihad take on Matrouh, whereas Ismaili meet Kafr Al-Sheikh on Thursday.
