Ahli have signed Mauritania striker Dominique da Silva on an undisclosed deal from Tunisia’s Sfaxien, marketing director Adli Al-Qaeyi confirmed.

“Da Silva joined us on a four-and-a-half-year deal and will be registered with the U-21 team,” Al-Qaeyi told FilGoal.com.

Ahli added the 21-year-old to their youth team roster as they only have two first-team slots to fill in the winter transfer break.

Egypt’s Emad Meteb has already been added as the league champions are on their way to sign another foreign striker in January.

Nigerian Patrick Ogunsoto is currently on trial with the club ahead of a potential move, which could see Liberian striker Francis Doe or Algerian starlet Amir Sayoud leave this winter.

Ahli have already released Lebanese striker Mohamed Ghaddar following the arrival of Manuel Jose.
