The 27-year-old's previous strike for the Red Devils was in May 2010 against Libya's Ittihad in the CAF Champions League.
He parted company with Ahli to move to Belgian side Standard Liege in July before backing out of the deal shortly afterwards.
Meteb, who came through the youth ranks of Ahli, rejoined the Cairo club later in September. He hasn't played a single match in the first half of the season.
The Egypt marksman should make his second competitive debut for Ahli when the Egyptian Premier League resumes this month.
Meteb featured in the first period of Monday's match before he was taken off in the interval. He doubled Ahli's lead after Sherif Abdul-Fadil broke the deadlock.
