Handball: Egypt beat Japan, might face Algeria

Egypt registered their second victory in the Handball World Championship over Japan on Saturday and will face either Algeria or South Korea in the President's Cup.

Egypt registered their second victory in the Handball World Championship over Japan on Saturday and will face either Algeria or South Korea in the President's Cup.

The Pharaohs downed Japan 34-28. Their first victory in the World Championship was over Tunisia on January 18th.

Algeria and South Korea will face off later on Saturday and the winners will take on the Egyptians.

Egypt lost to Germany, France, Spain and Bahrain in their previous match in the World Championship.
