The Egyptian army offered to handle security at Military Academy Stadium during Zamalek's Champions League meeting with Ulinzi Stars of Kenya.

"The army said the Military Academy could host the game. They pledged to fully secure the stadium." Zamalek's football director Ibrahim Hassan told FilGoal.com.

The game was initially expected to be held either in Sudan or Libya as a result of widespread demonstrations and strikes across the country.

Millions of Egyptians expressed their disgruntlement with the government, trying to topple incumbent president Hosni Mubarak.

Zamalek chairman Galal Ibrahim said the game will be played on February 25th.
