Massive demonstrations broke out in Egypt on January 25th and turned into an uprising that lasted for 18 days.
All competitions have been indefinitely halted due to security worries.
"The revolt showed how classy Egypt is," Dutchman Wotte told FilGoal.com. "The people wouldn't accept anything but freedom.
"As a foreigner, I respect the revolution but now I want the league to restart as soon as possible.
"Football will somehow make life in Egypt get back to normal. The league is also important for the Egyptian national team, friendly games are not enough."
FA president Samir Zaher revealed on Monday that the possibility of continuing the Egyptian Premier League is being considered.
