Club president Nasser Aboul-Hassan had earlier said the Dervishes might withdraw from the competition should the league be canceled.
However, Wotte assured that playing in the Confederation Cup while Ismaili's domestic campaign is on hold wouldn't be a problem.
"We are ready to play in the African championship even if the league was canceled," the Dutchman told FilGoal.com.
"The team boast experienced players who can take part in any game, that fact became obvious in the friendly matches we recently played.
"We also have a host of newcomers whom I deem a surprise, including (winter arrival) John Owoeri."
All sports competitions were indefinitely stopped in Egypt after demonstrations broke out and turned into a full-scale revolt that overthrew former president Mohamed Hosni Mubarak.
Ismaili should face Kenya's Sofapaka in the Confederation Cup round of 32 on March 20th.
