Ahli winter signing Dominique da Silva scored two goals, dished out one and got sent off as the Reds coasted to a 3-0 friendly victory over MCDR on Sunday.

The Mauritania striker opened the scoring after five minutes, shortly before setting up Osama Hosni with a fine assist in the 13th minute.

He made it three on 69 minutes with another quality finish, but he didn’t receive the standing ovation he hoped for upon leaving the pitch.

An off-the-ball incident with MCDR defender Ahmed Bakri saw both players receive a straight red card in the 72th minute.

Dominique becomes Ahli’s second foreign player in a row to be sent off, following Amir Sayoud’s red card in the most recent game against Harras Hodoud.

The win is Ahli’s fourth on the spin during the Egyptian Premier League break, which saw them beat Tersana, Wadi Degla and Hodoud recently.
