The 2010-2011 football season in Egypt has come under threat following the January 25 Revolution, which left the FA considering its options of late.
Zamalek finished the first half of the season on top of the table, three points clear of closest rivals Ismaili and six ahead of holders Ahli.
While some Whites’ fans fear for their team’s effort, coach Hassan seems to be unfazed.
“I personally don’t care if the season was called off, because we’re on top and that’s why we are the champions,” the outspoken manager told FilGoal.com.
“Zamalek have been the better team since last season.”
The future of the season is entirely in the hands of the Supreme Council of Armed Forces; the current rulers of the nation.
