Masri fine 20 players for skipping training

Masri had to cancel Monday's training session after only eight players showed up on the pitch, while the absentees were fined EGP 10,000 each.

Masri had to cancel Monday's training session after only eight players showed up on the pitch, while the absentees were fined EGP 10,000 each.

The coastal club's official website mentioned 20 players missed training without permission. All of them were sanctioned.

FilGoal.com learnt that most of Masri players skipped the session in protest over their overdue payments.

Only Mohamed Khalifa, Ahmed Osman, Karim Zekri, Rami Gamal, Daniel Yeboah, Mohamed Tawakol, Mohamed Taha and goalie Ahmed Hussein turned up.
