The fate of the 2010-2011 season is under scrutiny amid security uncertainties in Egypt following the January 25 Revolution.
“Every player is looking for regular football. If the season was called off, several players will demand moves away from their clubs and I could be one of them,” Yasser told FilGoal.com.
“I never thought of leaving Zamalek but this could finally happen if the cancellation decision was made, especially with present interest from other clubs.”
Yasser’s future with Zamalek has hardly been stable this season, with several problems occurring between the 28-year-old and the club’s management.
He was subjected to disciplinary action more than once, most notably when he went to join his national team during the 2010 Gulf Cup of Nations.
