Zamalek duo Mohamed Abdul-Shafi and Ahmed Ghanem are catching up with the Whites' contingent in Tunisia after wrapping up paperwork related to their military service.

The Cairo giants take on Club Africain in the CAF Champions League on 20 March.

"Ghanem and I worked out issues with the Egyptian military administration and now are to follow the rest of the team in Tunisia," Abdul-Shafi told FilGoal.com.

"We are setting off on Wednesday… (Hossam) Arafat will come with us too. He's no longer on international duty with Egypt's Olympic team."

Zamalek striker Amr Zaki had been earlier confirmed out of the game due to a niggling knee injury.
