Ahli are in advanced talks with Najran striker Yves Diba Ilunga of DR Congo, marketing director Adli Al-Qaeyi has confirmed.

"Diba’s contract expires by the end of the season and there is mutual interest over a move to Ahli," Al-Qaeyi told FilGoal.com.

Diba, 23, was recommended by Manuel Jose’s predecessor Abdul-Aziz Abdul-Shafi 'Zizo', before the Portuguese boss acknowledged the talks with him.

He is currently the top scorer of Saudi league strugglers Najran with eight goals so far this season.

Meanwhile, Al-Qaeyi has reaffirmed Ahli’s interest in international duo Walid Soliman and Ahmed Eid, but conceded that their respective clubs ENPPI and Harras Hodoud must show flexibility in negotiations.

Winger Eid said last week that he will leave Hodoud by the end of the season, implying that a move to Ahli would be too good to turn down.
