The Egyptian Premier League waved goodbye to Africa’s top-club competition after losing 5-4 on aggregate to Tunisia’s Club Africain in a match that witnessed a chaotic end on Saturday.
The Zamalek squad then flied to Saudi Arabia to take part in an exhibition game with Abha in the farewell of Mohamed Abou-Aouad.
Hossam Hassan's side won 2-0 on Monday, with goals from Ibrahim Salah and Ivorian Abou Kone.
While Zamalek are top of the Egyptian league, Qadsia have won the Kuwaiti Premier League, while Tadamon play in the second division.
The Cairo club will be without Qatar forward Hussein Yasser who received a knock to his chest during the Africain match.
