“Matches will be played every three days as agreed. The schedule was put with respect to Ahli and Harras Hodoud’s continental commitments,” Competitions Committee chief Amer Hussein told FilGoal.com.
“Teams will play on their normal home grounds without any change. The Cairo derby between Ahli and Zamalek takes place in week 27 on June 29.”
Hussein revealed that the committee has recommended that the relegation process goes on normally, with three teams going down.
The Egyptian FA will have a meeting on Thursday where a decision is expected to be made regarding the relegation saga.
Bottom clubs Ittihad, Arab Contractors, Smouha, Wadi Degla and Gouna have all opposed the restart of the league competition recently.
