The Tunisian revolution, which toppled former president Zine Al-Abidine Ben Ali, resulted in the postponement of sports activities in the country for over two months.

But the Tunisian FA decided on Thursday that the domestic competition will be in action again this month.

The situation in Egypt was almost the same as the Egyptian revolution took place a few days after Ben Ali’s departure, forcing former president Hosni Mubarak to step down.

The Egyptian Premier League will be resumed on April 13 though, after the first half of the season has been completed.
