Ittihad parted company with manager Mohamed Amer while assistant coach Mohamed Nour succeeded him at the Alexandrian side's helm on Saturday.

Amer fell out with Ittihad as the coastal club wanted to reduce his wage, although he's yet to get his overdue payments.

Meanwhile, Ittihad's players are still insisting on boycotting training as the beleaguered outfit remain unable to pay their salaries.

Board members met with the angry players to talk them into getting back in training, albeit to no avail.
