Ismaili missed out on regaining second place after drawing 0-0 with ENPPI in the Egyptian Premier League on Tuesday.

Following an action-less first half, the match wasn’t too dull after the break as the scoreline might indicate, but goalkeepers Mohamed Sobhi and Mohamed Abou-Gabal did well to earn their clean sheets.

Ismaili manager Mark Wotte was sent off at half time by referee Mahmoud Ashour for dissent.

Five minutes before the end, Ismaili striker Mohamed Abou-Greisha followed his manager off the pitch after receiving his second yellow card.

Ismaili remain third on 31 points, four points ahead of fourth-placed ENPPI.

Elsewhere, Harras Hodoud ended a four-match losing streak by edging Alexandrian rivals Smouha 1-0, courtesy of a 10th minute strike from Ahmed Abdul-Ghani.

In Port-Said, Masri needed an 81st minute penalty from Malian defender Eliassou Issiaka to salvage a 1-1 draw with visitors Gouna, who took the lead through Ahmed Omran.

Wadi Degla missed out on moving off the relegation zone after giving away a one-goal lead to draw 1-1 with MCDR.

Venezuelan striker Jesus Gomez's first-half strike was cancelled out by Ayman Kamal on 65 minutes.

Degla remain third from bottom with 16 points, while MCDR retain seventh place on 21.
