Egypt striker Ahmed Ali helped Hilal turn their two-goal trailing into a 3-2 victory over UAE’s Jazeera in the Asian Champions League.

The Emirate side were 2-nil up at half time with goals from Ali Ahmed Mabkhot and Abdullah Qassem.

But Saudi Arabia skipper Yasser Al-Qahtani scored two goals to level the scoring after the break, before Romanian midfielder Mirel Radoi won the game for Hilal with a 76th minute penalty.

Four minutes after the winning goal, Hilal manager took off Ali who scored in the Saudi champions’ last four games.

Hilal remain second with nine points from four games in Group A, while Jazeera are officially out of the competition as they lie bottom with a single point.
