Ismaili have parted company with Dutch manager Mark Wotte on Thursday, FilGoal.com has learnt.

The decision of the Ismaili board was made despite the fact that the Dervishes are unbeaten in their last eight league games under Wotte.

However, the shock elimination from the African Confederation Cup at the hands of Kenya’s Sofapaka last month has largely affected Wotte’s position.

The recent draws with Petrojet and ENPPI seemed to have added more scrutiny on the former Southampton manager’s job.

The crisis-hit Ismaili will, however, try to find a solution with Wotte over the penalty clause in his contract and the late dues estimated to be $120,000.

Meanwhile, Wotte’s predecessor Emad Soliman is the strongest candidate to land the job for the second time in the space of 10 months.
