Ahli's football director Sayed Abdul-Hafiz warned his team against complacency in the wake of their goalless draw at Zambia's ZESCO in the CAF Champions League round of 16 Saturday.

"The scoreless draw means that we haven't taken the lead yet, so all players need to focus on the second leg to register a win in Cairo," he told Ahli TV.

"We all wanted to record a victory that would make us comfortable in the return leg.

"Ahli faced unpleasant circumstances; the pitch was bad and the weather unstable but I'm satisfied with the players' assured display in the game."

The Red Devils need to win by any scoreline to qualify for the Champions League group stage.
