Ahli striker Mohamed Fadl will miss the weekend’s game with Masri after aggravating a calf injury in training.

The 30-year-old limped off Wednesday’s morning session after aggravating the injury that ruled him out of the recent Champions League visit to ZESCO United.

"Fadl will not play against Masri. He will have scans in the next 48 hours to determine when he'll be able to play again," Ahli doctor Walid Abdul-Baqi told FilGoal.com.

Fadl picked up the injury in this month’s 1-0 victory over Gaish, which saw him score the only goal of the game.

The injury-prone forward has already missed long spells of the season with various injuries and the Gaish game was his first 90 minutes this term.

Ahli are already without first-choice striker Emad Meteb, who has been out since February with broken ribs.
