Zamalek coach Hossam Hassan says he didn't employ a defensive formation in the league goalless draw at Ismaili, although he deployed three holding midfielders in the game.
The Dean played Ibrahim Salah, Hassan Mostafa and Ashour Al-Adham in midfield. The trio tend to support the rearguard than attack.
"I did not plot a defensive strategy, I just deployed a formation that suits the strength of our opponents," Hassan told the press conference.
"The draw is not a bad result for either team," he added.
Zamalek are still on top of the league table with 40 points, five ahead of second-placed Ismaili.
