In a case similar to that of Mido with Zamalek, the Dervishes couldn’t complete the registration of their Ghanaian recruit in the wake of the January 25 Revolution.
While they are likely to take the case to the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS), Ismaili don’t seem to be bothered much with the issue.
“Our problem with Arkoh is different from that of Mido. Arkoh is a young player and when we signed him we knew he might not play this season,” Ismaili spokesman Alaa Wahid told FilGoal.com.
“We were intending to prepare him for next season. As for Mido, he is a big name with vast experience and Zamalek will surely lose his services.”
Meanwhile, Ismaili are set to regain the services of goalkeeper Mohamed Sobhi and defender Ibrahim Yehia for this week’s game at Smouha.
But Nigerian striker Godwin Ndubuisi is set to miss out with a hamstring injury, so is defender Moatasem Salem.
